In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, jointly subsidized the Taiwan Orchid Growers Association to hold the Taiwan orchid exhibition in Paraguay.
Held the "Taiwan new agriculture and food movement 24-hour sales activity," calling on consumers to purchase premium-quality and fresh domestically produced agricultural products online and promoting Taiwan premium agriproducts.
Participated in the "TAIWAN EXPO 2019 in India."
Formed an emergency response team for the torrential rains of May 17, and announced the handling of agricultural natural disaster cash relief and low-interest loans.
Held the "Biodiversity Forum" and the book launch for Learning Time! Biodiversity V: Aichi Biodiversity Targets, Global Action, to provide the public with the latest information on global biodiversity and demonstrate Taiwan's efforts and

The COA attended the 87th General Session of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), where there was discussion of recognition of Taiwan as a zone free of foot and mouth disease.
Announced amendments to Article 3 of the "Temporary Organization Regulations of Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan," Article 4 of the "Administrative Regulations of Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan," and the "Personnel Establishment Table of Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan." Of these, Article 3 of the "Temporary Organization Regulations of Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan" took effect on July 1, 2018.
Announced amendments to Articles 5, 9, and 10 of the "Administrative Regulations of Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan," adjusting the professional responsibilities of administrative units and putting into place a division of powers and responsibilities to meet current needs.
Worked with the European Commission's Directorate-General of Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion to hold the "Workshop on Working and Living Conditions for Fisheries Foreign Labors" in Kaohsiung.
Announced the "Regulations on Rental Discounts for Operators that Practice Organic Farming on Public Lands or Lands of State-owned Enterprises."
