the applications of 50 livestock farms were approved as conforming to regulations.
Moreover, the COA promoted the "Farmland Ecological Certification Mechanism—the Green Conservation Label Program," under which we guided farmers to use eco-friendly cultivation methods without pesticides or chemical fertilizers to protect wildlife habitats. We also designed Taiwan’s first-ever label directly linking protected wildlife and agricultural products, the "Green Conservation Label," for consumers to be able to differentiate these products and to encourage consumers to buy them. By the end of 2019, 392 households and 581 hectares of land had been approved for certification, providing safe habitats for more than 48 protected species.
2. Promoting Sustainable Development of Fisheries
(1) Conservation of oceanic fisheries resources and management of coastal fleet activities
