Comprehensively upgrading agricultural cooperative relations with NSP partner countries: In 2018 the COA continued to deepen agricultural cooperation with NSP partner countries, including the signing of an action plan for the “Modern Agriculture Demo Farm in Karawang” within the framework of Taiwan-Indonesia agricultural cooperation. The two sides are cooperating in five major areas (irrigation, rice cultivation, the horticulture industry, duck farming, and farmers’ organizations) to assist Indonesia to increase agricultural productivity and farmers’ incomes. At the same time, Taiwan can increase its exports of relevant materials to Indonesia, creating a win-win situation.
