Annual Report 2018 Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan The COA and the ROC Ministry of Foreign Affairs selected “Young Agricultural Ambassadors” for the second year, sending them to Vietnam and Malaysia on observational visits. After returning home they were invited to meet with ROC President Tsai Ing-wen. The Fisheries Agency of the COA and the National Marine Fisheries Service of the US’ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration held a Taiwan- US bilateral sheries consultative meeting, and Taiwan and the US then reached a consensus on renewing the “Memorandum of Understanding Between the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States and the American Institute in Taiwan Concerning Cooperation in Fisheries and Aquaculture.” A group photo of President Tsai Ing-wen with members of the delegation of “Young Agricultural Ambassadors” to Vietnam.
