孤挺花的母球切割方式對子球形成之影響

Effect of Cutting Method of Mother Bulb on Bulblet Formation of Hippeastrum

摘要


孤挺花的繁殖目前以鱗片扦插為主,該種繁殖方法由於形成的子球較小,因此培育至具商品價值的開花球為止約需2-3年,本實驗利用不同的母球切割方法探討其對子球形成之影響,與鱗片繁殖法相比較,對母球進行割傷處理的挖空法或刻溝法可產生較大的子球。另外本實驗也探討了切割後母球的不同溫度及介質處理對子球形成之影響,其中溫度處理的影響並不顯著、而介質中的炭化稻殼可產生較重且周徑較大的子球。

The scaling is the main propagation method of Hippeastrum now. However, the small bulblets formed require many years to produce flowering sized bulbs by scaling. In order to decrease the propagation period, this study was carried out to find a proper cutting method for bulblet formation. The bulblets formed by cross-cutting and scooping show bigger size than that of scaling. The other bulbs cured at 20, 25, 30℃ for 7 or 14 days did not show any promotive effect. With the effect of medium on bulblet formation, the mother bulbs placed on rice-chaff charcoal medium show better bulblet formation than that place on sand, vermiculite or perlite.
