Held the “Monthly Food Day Press Conference.” Held the “2018 Traceable Agricultural Product Experts Awards Ceremony and Fair Activity.” Held the national Wagui competition and awards ceremony. Held the “2018 International Conference on Avian Influenza and Disease Control.” Held the “2018 Forum on Strategies to Streamline the Hog Industry.” The Alishan Forest Railway received one of the rst ever “Overseas Railway Awards” as part of the “Japan Railway Awards” presented by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. The COA announced that “Mango Crop Insurance (Linked to Government Disaster Relief)” and “Mango Crop Insurance (Regional Harvesting Type)” offered by Cathay Century Insurance would be agricultural insurance products for which the COA will subsidize farmers who take out such insurance. Announced that “Milkfish Aquaculture Insurance with Temperature Parameter” offered by Fubon Insurance would be an aquaculture natural disaster insurance product for which the COA will provide subsidies to aquaculture operators who take out such insurance.
